The Lungau model flying club runs a model flying airfield with a well-maintained grass flying strip (150 x 20 m) in Unternberg Moosham near Mauterndorf. Model flying enthusiasts can steer their small aircraft through the Murtal (Mur valley), spectators are always welcome! Anyone who’s interested is welcome to take their first steps in an instructor-student “buddy-box” system! Since March 2005, the Lungau model flying club in Salzburg has its own slope soaring site at Jacklbauer on the Fanningberg in Mauterndorf. |
