Restaurant Schi Alm

The Schi Alm Restaurant at the valley station of the gondola lift in the Mauterndorf ski centre offers hot meals the whole day from 11.30 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. When the sunshine skiing starts its season again in spring, then the spacious terrace with its view of the colourful goings-on on the slope is a favourite meeting place.

Our tip: When the ski lifts close and an eventful day’s skiing comes to an end, in addition to an extensive menu, the Schi Alm restaurant also regularly offers themed and speciality evenings!

Restaurant Panorama Alm

Situated at 2.000 m in the sunshine with 180 sqm of Sun terrace,

Speiereck Hütte

The Speiereck Hütte is located at the mountain station of the Grosseck II chairlift at 2,066 m altitude. In addition to traditional, good plain cooking, which is served in the cosy snug or on the sun terrace, this traditional shelter of the Österreichische Touristenklub (the Austrian hiking and mountaineering club) also offers the possibility of overnight accommodation either in a 2-bed room or dormitory.

Oberfeldalm ski restaurant

In this cosy alpine hut at the valley station of the Speiereck Gipfelbahn (peak lift), you will be treated to freshly-prepared specialities from the region. A major part of the produce used in the cuisine comes from the Wieland family’s own farm, which adheres strictly to the regulations on organic farming.

Trogalm

The Trogalm lies somewhat hidden behind the Oberfeldalm ski restaurant. This is a traditional, alpine hut providing refreshments, where you will be offered a proper, traditional Austrian snack and small dishes.

Sonnalm self service restaurant

Near the valley station of the Sonnalm lift is the only self-service restaurant in the Grosseck-Speiereck ski area, the Sonnalm! In addition to local dishes, there is a specially priced menu for children up to the age of 17 and even the consumption of own food is permitted. The Sonnalm is thus a good tip for children and groups of young people!

At the mountain station of the Speiereckbahn lift lies the traditional Peterbauer Almstub’n. This is where the romance of an alpine hut meets après-ski atmosphere! This alpine hut is also known for its regional cuisine – try it yourself.
