With good snow cover, the Grosseck-Speiereck ski area is open from the beginning of December until the weekend after Easter. Due to its high altitude of 1,100 m to 2,400 m, it is considered to be very certain of snow. However, if necessary, the entire mountain can be covered in snow artificially. All slopes are closed daily from 5.00 pm in the evening to 8.00 am the following morning to groom the slopes!
| An exception is made every Wednesday for touring skiers. This provides an opportunity from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm to ascend the Grosseck from Mauterndorf and also to descend during this time! |
