Use the free ski bus during your ski holiday in Mauterndorf

The free use of the ski bus is included In the lift pass prices for the Lungau ski region or the Lungo ski region. From Mauterndorf the local bus runs between the town centre and the ski centre at regular, short intervals, about every 10 to 15 minutes. Eleven bus stops are located in front of or near the hotels, guesthouses, B&Bs and other accommodation.

In addition, the ski bus or the Lungau Takt buses run regularly between Mauterndorf and the Grosseck-Speiereck, Katschberg-Aineck and Fanningberg ski areas.

What must be observed when using the ski bus

For a carefree winter holiday in Mauterndorf

The lift pass necessary to do alpine ski sports is also your bus ticket for the free use of the bus (excluded are group cards - the price for groups and youth group surcharges can be obtained at the lift pass ticket office).

The period of validity of the lift pass is also the period of validity of the bus ticket. Skiers who have not yet obtained a lift pass, and from their apparel and equipment are obviously travelling to a ski area to do ski sports, will be tolerated as first-time passengers and may likewise use the bus using the ski bus time free of charge.

Travel with our ski buses free of charge during the lift operating times from 8.00 a.m. to 5.45 p.m. with a valid lift pass for the respective ski area or a Salzburg Super Ski Card in ski apparel from your residence to Grosseck-Speiereck, Obertauern, Katschberg-Aineck, Fanningberg and return.

With a valid Lungo lift pass, you may travel in the Lungau Takt buses without limit throughout the entire Lungau area free of charge (for example, to cross-country skiing, hiking and shopping) during the lift operating times.

Note: limited ski bus operation from the start of the season until shortly before Christmas and in the period following Easter until the end of the season.

The Lungau cross-country combined ticket is valid for seven days and costs € 28,70 (as of winter 2012/2013) and includes free use of the bus and cross-country trails incl. the Lungau trail pin.
